I owned a smartcar with a glass pano roof. You absolutely need a sunshade. I'd definitely buy a Mach-E. However, this is Ford's practice model (issues with thermal cooling system, miles of wires etc) so I'm waiting on "All new redesigned from the ground up" 2025-26 model years.

When I was going to order a Mach E I had planned on opting out of the pano glass roof as I thought what is the point of paying extra for the pano and then covering it with shade because of our weather. They topped taking orders so bought a premium with the pano someone else ordered and didn’t pickup.

I tested this, AWD, extended range, and what very few reviews mention, there is a high pitch sound when accelerating, I found it quite annoying as it was interrupting the EV silence. B&O audio is not really premium folks. No heat pump, no ventilated seats and no matrix LED lights disqualifies it in 2023, in spite of a nice look.

Great design except for the interior. Lazy tablet infotainment design. Waiting for a full horizontal display. Come on Ford. You can do better!
