I think Dan should show us some of the gadgets he has designed and show them off and what he could improve on his own designs

On the first one, the agitator ball should probably be a color other than yellow too, just so it's easier to see.

i feel like the egg cracker and the juicer would be great for someone who only had one usable arm/hand.. the juicer is also great for people with weak wrists or have carpal tunnel.

I've watched a few of Dan's reviews, and I think the one BIG test he misses is CLEANING-- all of these gadgets look MUCH harder to clean with grooves, fins, and hinges where food can collect.

This man honestly needs his own goddamn channel. Because he does not appear on my feed often enough

"I'm going to give it a No/5. Wait, that's not a number."

He hated it so much he forgot how the show worked for a second!

The egg shell cracker is great, I would say it’s perfect for people with disabilities or kids trying to help in the kitchen, if they’re like 4yo, they wouldn’t have the control to not be messy with eggs. I wouldn’t use, and most people can cook wouldn’t need it, but great to attend the needs of those who can’t

"Also I drank a lot so I'm in a friendly mood."

He's a national treasure.

That egg cracker is one of the only things shown on this program that wasn't cheap useless plastic trash. It's built well, has a defined purpose, and works as expected. Would be good for someone who has maybe a motor impairment.

Blueberry pancakes: 5/5
Blueberry bagels: No/5

for me two important things are missing in the tests:
1) ease of cleaning.
2) storage space they occupy in relation to how usable it is.

I feel like for the time comparison he should do a run after he has figured out how the gadget works. Sometimes it seems like it takes long because he's just fumbling with it for the first time

I legit honestly laughed at "better than eggspected" and now I'm sad

Liquids first whenever you go into an agitator style mixer helps tremendously.

As terrible as these products often are, you also very frequently don't follow the instructions. That pancake maker specifically instructs you to add the eggs and liquids first, beat them, and then add the flour... so how are you going to sit here and tell us in good faith that it doesn't work at all when YOU are what didn't work properly.
It's probably still crap, but the least you can do is use them as intended to get an accurate judge of their effectiveness.
You specifically link to the product (ostensibly to sell it to us with a referral link, despite not recommending it) and the photo of it has a visual step-by-step tutorial.

"Dan Mimosa" sounds like a slightly dodgy but flamboyant nightclub owner from the 80's. I'm all for it.

I swear Dan Formosa is the modern INSPECTOR GADGET!

Can Dan test pumpkin carving gadgets vs a knife and spoon vs power tools?

The Bagel cutter seems fine though the guillotine style cutters seem more convenient and just as safe.
