these gadgets need to get a rating based on how easy they are to clean compared to the standard alternative!!

Part of these tests should also include cleaning these gadgets. I could only imagine how painful that butter cutter thing must be to fully clean.

I teach 3D design to high school students, and these gadgets made me think about redesign for accessibility. Not everyone has manual dexterity or mobility to cut a bagel or separate eggs. Even though the products seem a bit gimmicky they could be helpful. The format of the video is great and I love the redesign idea on butcher paper on the fly.

Designing Mr. Sneezy to have a slight tilt back would be an improvement for his dribbling, and also would make him look up at you from the counter.

I bet you can use the cereal bowl as nacho bowl with the dip on top and chips below

Dan went from "Mr. Sneezy you are almost perfect" to "I don't think I want to ever see Mr. Sneezy again" in literally 10 seconds

I appreciated the "Rick and Morty" reference..." Your purpose in life is to pass butter..." This guy is my favorite!

The bagel slicer, we had in my college dining hall. There it's a pretty ideal invention, as you don't want sharp knives laying around for anyone to handle. I imagine it'd also be good for parents who have kids that like to be kitchen savvy.

One thing that is overlooked in the Never Soggy Cereal Bowl is that they're completely unstackable for storage.

Dan, Dan, the gadget man!!! I have Rhumatoid Arthritis and am always looking for things to help me do stuff independently. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. But this is a much needed resource for those who are disabled.

'I don't know if that offends anyone's aesthetic sensibilities.'

Most beautiful sentence I have heard all week, only just in front of 'bananas are waterproof'

I actually have a bagel cutter like that just a different brand. I have nerve damage and arthritis in my hands so I don't have a steady hand, so cutting is hard and I have trouble doing it evenly, so I like the product

"Your purpose in life is to pass butter"

Me: I understood that reference

I would love to see a section that caters to those with disabilities. Some gadgets are created with disabilities in mind. For example, the bagel cutter. Although it seems useless to the man in the video, it is very helpful for someone with arthritis or tremors. Cutting normally can be a difficult task, so being able to just put it in a gadget and cut it helps a whole lot

The bagel guillotine seems like it would be good for people with arthritis or tremors since all you need is pressure on top instead of gripping a knife.

I'm also a Product Designer, I just wanted to add something regarding the bagel slicer.

The bagel slicer is also designed for the blind, as it can be dangerous for those with visual problems to use knifes. So a device like the bagel slicer, that is designed for that purpose, is great.

But majority of people, unless you're afraid of knives, it's just an option.
