Not the fastest by far, but if the phone will live whole day, I'm fine even with slow, battery caring overnight charging.

Xperia has the best charging and the best battery optimization. 5-6 years and no need to replace the battery.

Best to charge overnight which is probably what this phone is optimized given it’s preserving the battery life over the long haul.

My RAZR+ charges pretty quick and my iPhone 13 mini does too. In the latter’s case the smaller battery probably helps.

Many phones charge at lower watts if the screen is active. Like my samsung when the screen is off pulls 18w and when the screen is active..like even at lock screen it will immediately drop down to 10w. Same happens with another xiaomi phone.
So a better test would be to have the screen off and only the osd battery counter enabled (that does not effect charging power) & have another phone do the the timer.

The phone will pick up your charging habits how often you do so and how long at night it will charge to around 80% then slow down and reach near 100% when it picks up your waking time this is standard on all Sony phones

One can check the time also at the top left corner of the phone as maybe it slows down the charging process.
