Glad you got the mic/sound set up sorted. Looking great. I took both the 360 X3 and X1 out today but the wind and rain forced a change of plan, but you're spot on, the two work together very well.

Nice video. Can you imagine what the next generation of this drone/camera will have, hopefully 4k resolution, works over water, snow & higher ground level. Want one but might wait for the X2 to come out

Got a couple of questions:
1. Where does it store the video or does it stream live to the phone app and is stored in the phone app?
2. Does it recognise you via face recognition? What if you try follow / dolly mode etc in a somewhat crowded area, will it still follow you or start following someone else lol.

Hi! I am thinking of buying the Hohem mics. Do you know if they would work good with the hoverair and be able to keep your phone in your pocket while recording? From what I understand, you can record with your phone and that cancels out the sound of the drone. Thanks for your help! Great video btw!

Great video, am currently waiting for my X1 to arrive. I think it will be a great addition to my GoPro’s and DJI mini 3 pro. I love the quick set up and simplicity of it, and can see me using it a lot in scenarios where the mini is just too much effort for that quick shot etc. Question - I know it says it cant be flown over an area where there is a big change in height from the floor. So if you were to try and get an epic orbit shot around you standing on the edge of a cliff where the orbit starts at say 5ft from cliff top and then goes out over the cliff edge before circling back to start, is that a definite no no for this? I’m guessing it is, but hoping perhaps the orbit mode would keep it at the same start height throughout its full circle. If not then the mini 3 is the go for this type of shot

Great review, looks awesome! Does your iPhone need to be unlocked with the Hover app open to record audio from iPhone? Or will it record with app open with iPhone screen locked?

While in a certain flight mode like hover, can you use any hand gestures to take a photo? Would love to purchase but doesn’t ship to Australia!
