Re: the Korean nuclear deal. Isn’t the whole point of placing your nukes in allied territory to show that you’re willing to put part of your own precious nuclear deterrent “in the line of fire” so to speak? I.e. showing that you’re committed to getting dragged in, if your ally is attacked.

I question Russia's ability to make a safe nuclear power plant.

As a person living in Turkey, I hope that on May 14th Erdogan will leave and democracy will come to our country.

Not attending the nuclear power plant opening, opting to instead watch it from the distance sounds a lot like what Cersei did with the sept of Baelor

Erdogan needs no not only lose, they need someone to actually revert all the legislature that dismantled democracy.
Turkey needs integrity, seperation of power, personal freedoms, and leadership by merit.

Edit: yeah yeah it may or may never have been that way, just saying that any society wishes to move toward those ideals and virtues. The only thing standing in its way is rulers trying to stay in power.

I think the point of the submarines docked in SK os not to be stealthy about it. Quite the opposite. Saber rattling.

Old men don't seem to understand the concept of letting go, especially when it comes to money and power.

Your uplifting story was nice. It's always sad when people with little economic prospects have to make their living hawking a dangerous substance that destroys people's health and lives, but fortunately now they'll be selling cannabis instead.

I mean, hey, while a sub in port isn't very stealthy, blowing up a US sub anywhere in the world is asking for trouble.
