Polls are showing Turkey's leader of more than two decades, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is trailing behind opposing leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu just as voters head to the polls in a high-stakes election. NBC's Matt Bradley reports.

Don't celebrate too early. I doubt many pols are conducted in Eastern parts of Turkey where he has more support. They poll in istanbul, Izmir and maybe far east as Ankara but thats about it.

Was just there for some months and didnt meet any fans. Economy is a huge issue. Also, I met a couple who had to go thru hoops to vote properly. On another note... the us previous potus got played by him and russia, and we lost a stronghold while terrorists were let go and allies left defenseless. Had everything to do with hotels and malls in Istanbul for personal gain and nothing to do with foreign policy to benefit the greater good.

I'm American and support Kilicdaroglu 100%, Turkey deserves to be a free and democratic country. Unfortunately I'm not sure how the election is going to go, even with good polls for the opposition, dictators tend to find a way to stay in power somehow.

Im not familiar with the issue. But as soon as i figured out which candidate was anti Nato. I knew who was most likely gonna "loss". Just like in Brazil.
