It does but in the same token the quadrant rule leads to more uses that simplify problems such as questions like when sinA=3/5 and cos B=-5/13 where A is obtuse and B reflex, find without a calculator the exact values of the tan (A+B). These are on C3.

to be honest in a way i think it is because it shows that you understand how the graph looks like and where and how many times your solution occurs ? what do you think ?

why don't you use that method where you would just put PS, SS and then under each one will be you answer + 360n or you period and your secondary will be (360- answer ) + 360n ...
my maths teacher always tells us this better ?
