It is not an equation it is an identity. If it were an equation then I would have done.

Have you looked at my tutorials on simplifying algebraic fractions? They may well answer your questions.

in the beginning i just multiplied the first fraction by x+1 and the second by 2x+3 but my final answer was nothing like yours i had some completely long and different answers how do i know for the future if a question like this comes up to factorize and then finish the question to save time because i can never see these theories that you come up with to do the question such a factorize 2x^2 + 3x is there any tips you could give me so that i can see these kind of techniques? thanks for the vids

Hello sorry for commenting on so many of your videos haha but i did the same as kurdishboy94, and i ended up ith a cubic equation on top, and obviously (2x+3)(x-2)(x+1), is there anyway to go on from there, if for some reason i do have to do something like that in the exam? I tried diving the cubic by one of the ones at the bottom, and i didnt end up with 0, i dont even know what i would have done if i did end up with 0 haha but ye thankyou very much for the videos :)
