This is A. Self-watering, automatic, no electricity needed, wicking, DIY hydroponic system.
This is extremely affordable, not as cheap as the kratky. Unless you compare how many plants you can grow in a single system. But it is better in my opinion. Plant size, ease of growing, taking care of the system, and how you plant seeds or plants.

I dont do hydroponics but those plants seem kind of small to let them got to fruit, maybe you should let them establish a little more before letting them fruit.
