Cuba acting so smug as he approaches the jury and tries on the gloves: He nailed Simpson right

This was the worst mistake in court history. Some people like wearing tight gloves, all oj had to do was pretend it can barely fit him smh

Damn, Cuba really is a top notch actor. This reenactment was flawless.

In reality OJ happily stood up and raised his hands with glee once realizing how poorly the gloves fit. Poorly fitting either from trauma and moisture to leather coupled with OJ wearing latex and not taking his meds for arthritis... (Genius)

This is a fantastic miniseries. It’s got everything: race, class, power, intrigue, and genuinely intelligent, flawed characters on both sides. Shakespeare himself couldn’t have written a better story than this. Still crazy that this actually happened.

This scene was cringeworthy in all the right ways, you know what's going to happen but it makes you so upset knowing how he fooled them and made the prosecutors look bad. It was like watching a sinking ship without any life-preservers.

Outstanding scene. LOL @ Clark shutting down Darden with one look. Best mini (or limited) series I’ve ever seen.

That look Marcia gave to Darden when he was giving explanations to him was like, “I told you son not to go near the cookie jar!” LOL 😅😂🤣

The build up to this scene is great too, Travolta goes up and realizes they wouldn’t fit his own hands in a million years. He goes up to OJ and has him hold his hands up to his and realizes that with rubber gloves underneath and a little showmanship, they’ll never fit on OJ’s hands at all

This was the first nail in the coffin for the prosecution.

The most impressive part of this whole scene was how Cochran played it as if he’d be offended if Darden were to try this stunt yet as soon as Darden recommended it, Johnnie had no objections and looked at Chris to say “gotcha”.

Seriously, even though the gloves "didn't fit", the fact he could fold his hands somewhat freely instantly proves he could have still done it with those gloves, ESPECIALLY if he's still able to slip the other glove on his off hand while wearing the main hand glove. If the gloves truly didn't fit, he couldn't close his hands at all and wouldn't be able to grip the hem of the off glove.

That music in the background is so epic when Cockran and Shapiro are looking at each other in the end. 3:43

One of the best acting scenes I've overseen on TV

What I hate about lawyers is everyone wants to win. It's not really about justice for the people. It's a contest between lawyers. For example if the fitting of the gloves is the ultimate proof then it should be no hard feelings because the truth is the truth and that should be what everyone is there for.

I knew Cuba was an excellent actor… but wow. Im astonished at the feeling and meaning conveyed without words. Perfect portrayal of what we saw and FELT.

I feel so bad for Darden and Marcia, they were doomed from the start.

This trial was not about O.J., it was about the police and sticking it to them for all the bullshit in the past, the jury themselves were tortured for more than half a year by the police officers and were being treated like prisoners, so why the hell would they want to help the prosecution and the government when their decision had so much more to say than that. The police even failed Nicole on their own over and over again by ignoring her calls and domestic abuse for years yet now when it’s too late the jury is expected to see the police system as anything but a total joke? I know I would.

This scene really shows how they had no chance, Marcia even said that they had O.J. try on another pair of gloves beforehand that didn’t shrink and they wore just fine but the jury didn’t care, they wanted to see the actual pair even though being soaked in blood, frozen and unfrozen, O.J. wearing a glove underneath, it was just all really stupid and once again that’s the system, the system shouldn’t be allowing dumb shit like that to matter.

I believe the jury knows that O.J. did it, and while I still feel bad for the Goldman’s to this day karma came for them in the long run. They won the civil case and proved that he did it and being able to annoy O.J. forever no matter where he goes is better justice than anything else in my eyes for that family. Nicole’s family not so much, they pressured her to stay with him, they are not good people. That’s the only thing that I have an issue with about the choice to make him free as the Goldman’s didn’t deserve it but knowing what I know now I understand why they chose to stick it to the police. That’s ultimately what the decision was about in my eyes (trying to understand why the jury chose and I always hear them talk about payback) and to be fair the defense did tell a more credible story than the prosecution.

Even Marcia Clark knew it was a bad idea to bring the glove in as evidence.. Lol
