Dude speaking about monopoly guy and memory and over here, "imagine the monopoly guy" and I imagined a black-and-white Vault Boy from fallout giving a thumbs up

We are from Scotland and have never seen Mr Peanut's before. Yet we still remember Mr Monopoly with a monacle.

Ok, here is one to consider: I am a former 19Kilo (Army Tanker) and at one time was stationed at Camp Casey, ROK. I clearly, CLEARLY remember that one morning, during PT, my Company was told to form up at one end of the soccer field. At the other end sat a humvee with what looked like a radar dish mounted on top. We were told the dish used sound waves or noise for crowd control during riots. We were told we would be subjected to a brief, low level burst of the "noise." I clearly remember when we were hit with it and it was like my skin was getting sunburned, really fast, really unpleasant. That was in 2010. I thought about it now and again, but let it go. It wasn't that big a deal. Anyway, I was messaging an old buddy that was there with me and mentioned the "test" or whatever. He had no clue, no clue what I was talking about. I know he was there, he was standing two ft from me in formation. That was odd, so I messaged a few other buddies that I knew were there. Here's the deal: it was basically 50/50. Half the guys I asked had no clue "WTF" I was talking about to the other half who remembered and also described the same burning sensation on our skin. Tell me that isn't weird. HOW COULD A PERSON "FORGET" SOMETHING LIKE THAT? No bullshit, true story.

The Monopoly guy being mixed with that Peanut guy doesn't make sense for Aussies, as I have never ever seen the Peanut guy before ... so there goes that theory lol. I actually clearly remember my mother telling me stories when I was around 18 about what happened when I was born, but when speaking to her recently, she said these things never happened, and she never would have said what I remember her telling me. I ended up getting into an argument with her about this haha!

The monopoly guy theory about people mistaking it for Mr Peanut is not true. I am not American, I didn't even know there was a Mr. Peanut and I also thought he was wearing a monocle.

I literally just felt goosebumps right now. I remember my 8th grade teacher world geography teacher taugh us about Nelson Mandela and she said he had died during the protest . This is crazy!

The Fruit of the Loom logo is the one that gets me the most

The James Bond scene of the girl with the braces...is by far...undeniable proof that something has changed.

I'm sorry, you're telling me Shazaam wasn't ever a thing?? That feels like a lie.

Also, in respect to Fruit Of The Loom, I distinctly remember seeing the logo one day and thinking "when did they remove the cornucopia?" I know it's not there now, but it sure used to be!

And regarding the Mona Lisa smiling, I remember 100% that she didn't have a smile. She had a straight face. Not a frown. Just a straight face. And it's definitely NOT me remembering wrong.

The fruit of the loom one has me messed up. When I was younger at Target, I asked my Mom what that basket thing is, that's how I found out what a Cornucopia was

My school literally used the fruit of the loom logo as an example, to show us what a cornucopia was. We were learning about thanksgiving and stuff and somebody asked about it, it was already past 2012 when it happened I can tell ya that!

There sure was a monocle there. I was literally in a store 2 weeks before I found out about Mandella Effect and saw a Monopoly game and told myself "oh, too bad they edited the character, it was better with a monocle on". And 2 weeks later, I find out it has never had one... Seriously... And I've never seen Mr. Peanut since I'm not from the US. Nor I think of rich guys from the 20th century with monocle, I'm not from the UK either lol.

Mona Lisa had no expression, bordering on a frown, and they had no idea who she was. There was a theory that it was actually himself, as a woman possibly. This is what I remember very well.

Two of these are from Jim Carey's Ace Ventura Pet Detective movies. The "Monopoly Guy" comment for the guy with the tophat and monocle, and "Hello Clarice..." when he puts shaved ham on his face and monologues as Hannibal Lecter.

About Shazam. I remember when Kazam came out and thought it odd they'd make another movie so similar to Shazam that was recently released. Why would I have thought that if it didn't exist?

Shazaam was the one that confirmed Mandela effect for me years ago cause I specifically remember saying to myself in the 90's when Kazaam came out: "What a knock off. Just because Shaquille is more famous, they copied Sinbad's movie." So when Sinbad vehemently denied there was such a movie, I knew for sure the Mandela effect is REAL.
