...why would people complain about the spider being too scary? Why would they buy it if they knew there would be a spider? And it's on the box? That is so weird to me.

If they changed the colors, the C-3PO one could pass for Episode 1 C-3PO. But even then it would likely still be very low reviewed because of how clunky and frustrating it is

When it comes to the spider trike, it’s probably based on the Spider Cycle from the Ultimate Spider Man cartoon. In the show it was stated that Peter had to use the trike because the web shooters S.H.I.E.L.D used web fluid that was really expensive. Although I don’t know why Lego made it a “trike” instead of a motorcycle.

I remember trying to build a Lego "Star Destroyer" from Star Wars... only to have put one of the 1st pieces on wrong and having to take the whole thing apart to fix it. Then I proceeded to throw it into The Shadow Realm.

I remember the lego harry potter spider set, and I think besides being overall unpleasant to look at, the price at the time was way too high for what little you actually got to build. My mom bought it for me and I remember thinking “is this all?” when I was finished, so that also might have contributed to its bad rating.

The Ultimate Lightsaber Duel is actually based on the Mining facility on Mustafar, which hung over a large lava cliff. It played a large role in the first half of the fight, and I've always been fond of it

The Galidor TV series aired during my pre-teen / early teen years and at the time I felt it to be like Farscape for kids.
For those who may not know Fatscape was a science fiction series that aired on the Sci-Fi channel during the late 1990's and early 2000's.
It was about a human astronaut who while test flying a new spaceship got warped to a far-off section of the galaxy and met a colorful cast of alien characters, including a blue plant lady, a warrior squid man who has a sword that can transform into a laser shooting assault rifle, and others. They all go on adventures in an organic spaceship that's alive and even gave birth to a baby spaceship later in the series.

With the C-3PO set, I always thought it was meant to be him from Phantom Menace, where he was incomplete as Anakin was building him.

Your light style and gentle demeanor have meant so much to me while recovering from surgery. I can just let your videos play and not worry about it when nurses walk in, unlike some of the true crime or horror channels I watch

There was a whole line of these Ben 10 aliens actually I remember having like 3 or 4 of them as kid, including humongusaur and when you had multiple it was kinda fun cause you could mix and much the pieces and create some pretty crazy alien designs

It's very impressive the technic C3PO comes apart too easily while simultaneously not coming apart well enough. A modern mystery to man

I find strange how the General Grievous Combat Speeder is increasing in price yet it was poorly received by fans.

The Aragog design in the later set I got as a kid (I'm talking post-Deathly Hallows movie, when they were using flesh tones for the minifigures instead of yellow) was a serious improvement over the original. It had a face with some personality to it rather than dead black orbs on the side of the head, a more distinctly tarantula-like appearance that helped it look not so alien, and the legs were even repurposed from a ninja sword mold! I'm sure it was still creepy to arachnophobes, but it at least looked like a cool toy monster for your lego figures to fight in that set rather than H.R. Giger's lost spider sculpture.

Personally I've always liked ultimate lightsaber duel, yeah the thing with the sticks used to move the figures doesn't really work like it should but if you don't use them and just move the minifigures with your hands, the set is easier and more fun to play with.

That ultimate lightsaber duel set looks like abstract "art." Not the pieces that're mesmorising to look at (some abstract art looks good), but the kind that looks like the painter has a seizure....while 3 in the and hasn't slept in 4 days

At 14:20, I personally believe rather then putting the Eternal Aerial Assault set, they should have put the 7151 Sith Infiltrator set. It was $30 in 1999 money and it was really terrible with only one Lego figure. Easily the worst of the 1999 Lego sets for Star Wars.

2:37 Ouch. You know something's bad when you make someone desperate enough to step on a Lego on purpose.

3:05 oh that’s cool! I actually have this set!
I’m honestly surprised that the General Grievous set was rated so low!

I feel like a duel on mustafar set would work a lot better if lego stopped focusing on making it about that battle and made it like an obstacle course. It would be a lot more fun to build and play with and would still fit with the duel itself.

Aww, what's wrong with Aragog? I still have my complete Aragog set that my grandmother gave me when I was in elementary or middle school. She's no longer with us so it means a lot to me and I'd never get rid of it, no matter how creepy people may think it is.
