You know what the worst price to part ratio is though? The 48x48 base plate is 15 dollars per piece

My grandpa bought me the Final Duel from 2005 at a garage sale for less than $20. Thanks Papa, love you

Actually owned C3P0 as a kid, and bought the eternal's set because it was cheap. Changed the head, and swapped the hands for a minigun & shield, 3P0 became a space plane.

"The figure is glued together, making no room for imagination or creativity"
Meaning - you can't kill your Jack Stone when he plumets towards the earth at an alarming pace and lose limbs.

The only reason that Grievous Speeder is so low is because M&R got his NPC followers to review bomb the thing for being even a tad overpriced. I have the set and it’s great. Fantastic figure selection and a cool vehicle.

I was actually quite pleased with the Vidiyo line as a concept; I liked the idea of having different bands that represent the various genre's of music. I just wish it had been executed better, and the app wasn't the main focus

Surprised the new Hulkbuster or Table Football sets weren't mentioned here, they seem to be universally panned by fans and went on sale pretty quickly after release.

The buildable figures from the Legends of Chima line did not look that bad, to be honest. It rather seems to me that they were voted against by some crazed "Lego purists" who simply cannot stand this type of Lego product in general.

P.S. - The 'parts-to-price' ratio is often (not always) incredibly overrated. It actually depends on WHAT SIZE the individual Lego pieces/parts are. The volume of stuff you get in the end for your money is the most crucial "metric" in here.

Honestly, the VIDIYO line has some cool designs like the beatbox and doesn't deserve the hate it recieved. It was a good shot at something different than usual and I hope Lego will try something like it again, but just not have the sets overpriced so much.

Lego has been pushing out some very mediocre Lego City sets lately, which were mainly marked for younger kids, so I’m surprised not a single City set is on this list.

I’m shocked the first order walker from TLJ isn’t on here. That was universally hated on upon launch.

The 2010 version of Hagrid's Hut had a better version of Aragog than the 2002 Aragog in the dark forest set.

That eternals set being not well rated makes sense but i quite like it. I have no context for how the creature looks in the film tbh so i think it looks fairly cool. And the minifigs are nice enough too.

The idea that a set from 2018 can be called "old" now makes me feel sick.

The Hulkbuster (the £500ish recent one) should be on this list next time. I can't believe they actually had the nerve to put that thing out there at that price - it doesn't even look like the Hulkbuster!

I think I had the c3po as a kid - definitely remember it! I also really loved all the Eternals sets. Perspective I guess 😂 fun list though.

i loved the buildable action figures as a kid and i still have a few of those Chima sets lying around (including Chi Eris funnily enough)

Chima in general was such a good line and it's a shame it went out so soon

Hilariously, a shop I worked at had those Lego Video sets and we struggled to get rid of them, and corporate was constantly telling us to lower the price to sell them. We eventually went down to something like 75% off before they finally started selling. The boom box car was neat looking, wanted to get it but sadly the moment the sale started scalpers flooded our online orders.

The small boxes with just the characters and the plates though, eventually we just started handing them out with other lego purchases. Even got to keep 2 myself for free, they're on my shelf next to my work lanyard. Kinda miss that job.
