I'm a big fan of animal centred comics and manga. They're just fun. Something about the protagonists being non-human gives you a little more space for believing in the worlds built in the comics without straining. It's the same with manga.

At some point I'm going to do a collection video compiling all the animal manga, and another with all the animal comics. And there are more than enough great pieces of work to fill both videos.

Man's best is about three pets who are part of a spaceship that set out desperately trying to find a new home for mankind. Each of them have their own unique skill, made possible by bodily augmentations that their owner has provided them with.

Things go pear-shaped when the ship encounters a planet that appears out of nowhere, and their owner is kidnapped, leaving only the pets to try to save her.

But the planet they are on has a mind of their own and there a few secrets to be uncovered along the way.
