I was never taught how to do this (I wasn't tested on it for my driving test, and my dad was like "This child never leaves the house and does not need to know this") so I'm glad someone finally explained how to do this. Thanks Joe!!!

Thankfully my driving instructor must have been ready to go home for the day because not only did I not successfully parallel park but I also was speeding throughout. The only thing she said to my mom was, “Well, she has a lead foot but she drives pretty well.” And so I passed! I’m 31 now and still remember that day so clearly even though it was 15 years ago.
