After you pour the seal coat you can pour the flood coat as long as the seal coat has gotten tacky to the touch and not have to sand between coats. Don't forget to torch the seal coat to get rid of the bubbles.

hi bit of topic but I was wondering if I can get some advise I am making a resin and walnut table with 2 matching benches and the benches are going to be 1.7 m long and 16 inches wide and will just just 2 box metal legs be ok for support or not I can't really put a bar in the middle as you will see it through he resin or would you suggest putting 3 legs on instead thanks.

Nathan, can you please link the CA glue and activator, if you use that, to touch up micro holes or pits left after the pour

Could you use the casting epoxy as a seal coat while stablzing the soft wood before you put a flood coat on? And about how long would you have to wait to put on flood coat, ?
As usual great video and tips

Could you pour a little extra epoxy during the initial pour to cover the entire slab and eliminate issue #2? Just trying to figure out a way to deal with it without having to wait for epoxy to set up a second time. Beautiful table!!!

What brand polish do you recommend finishing with?

So casting resin will stick to punky woods? Or does it just lay on top. I am a turner and I have a piece I want to do but it has some punkeyness

Great table top man! I have an idea for a video for you. "How to calculate resin needed and figure the 2:1 ratio". It might help some people. Thanks bud.

Thank you for this video I feel like you're answering some questions I asked you a couple weeks ago. But I have a question are you going to mill it after that sealcoat dries and do a wood exposed finish?

I noticed you switched from Stone Coat Epoxy to Incredible Solutions. Is there a specific reason for the switch?

Really like your videos, but the slowmo under fluorescent lights and the strobing this causes makes them horrible to watch, enough that I'm considering unsubscribing. Please don't do it, or get a better light source. Thanks
