I think the 9 speed is better suited for the heavier suvs and trucks because in a car this light it can achieve more speed with each gear so having 9 short gears is unnecessary a 6-8 would probably be much better

i’m guessing with all those gears, it probably holds 2nd or 3rd gear on regular driving to sustain its torque? the first 2 gears seem pointless, however it’s still pretty quick

Seems a bit strained . . . and overly short gearing. My MKC's 2.0L EcoBoost is quicker. A little more powerful but similarly sized to an Envision in weight.

I won’t buy something that gets 237 miles on almost a whole tank of gas and I thought my parents vehicle was one of the lowest on a tank of gas. I almost think that Vehicle owners on vehicles with 250 or 300 a tank of gas should pay gas guzzlers tax.

Adequate acceleration but not great or fast. Nothing like a naturally aspirated V6. Hate the sound of turbocharged four cylinders just my opinion
