I decided four little phrases like you had worked well for me, to fully encompass but not over-elaborate on my style, and I came up with
-Elegant but playful
-Round & wavy
-Soft, but well-defined shapes
-Warm, friendly colors & lines

I would describe my style as frumpy-chic. Every YouTube video I’ve ever watched about how to avoid looking frumpy, I always think the “frumpy” examples are cute. At the same time, I find myself thinking, “but it could be even better if they threw on a belt, heels, and a blazer over it”...

I haven't done the exercise but have been thinking about this a lot recently. My style is old fashioned/retro, feminine/romantic. So far that's as far as I've made it. Youve given me some good things to consider, thank you.

I summed mine up : Jennifer Anniston. Bc she’s only a little older than me, shorter torso and long legs. I’m brunette and she’s blonde but I love everything she wears. Casual fancy dresses jeans T-shirt’s etc. My goal after tossing my ratty clothes is to start with ONEbasic
JA like casual outfit (maybe I already have it so Buried somewhere underneath my horrific leggings lol). For me the easiest thing was to just envision who I like that’s famous or semi famous with a similar body shape and the style that I like and it came up to Jennifer Aniston!!! Your method was really interesting and I did do it so thank you for that it was an interesting approach

Mine: Classic, sporty, neutrals, clean lines. Prints on dresses only. No big labels!

I enjoyed this. The main words I came up with are natural, classy, simple, elegant and earthy. Kind of like an earth goddess crossed with 1950's fit n flare style haha. I love all natural fibres like linen and hemp and I also love fitted clothing but not overly tight as I have an hourglass shape. I gravitate towards greens, turquoise, cream and black.

I just decided to fill it out here. I might send to my stylist to create a capsule wardrobe.

Colors I like to wear: pastels like blue, aqua, and black and cream, white, candy red
Patterns: gingham, floral, stripes, tan (jacket only if it looks good)
What works for me: horseshoe pants, Ducktales grey-green-red flannel, red flannel, black Mary Janes, converse, black jeans, dark blue jeans, long chandelier earrings, big ring, studded earrings, red satin high school jacket
Colors I don't like to wear: brown (too neutral)
Patterns and textures I don't like: leather, fur
What do I like about the looks on Pinterest: fun, optimistic, relaxed, easygoing, spring, new, refreshing, fierce, individualistic, relatable, stand-out like a puppet
Why I don't like some styles: hating on animals by wearing them, boring, not creative, giving up, being like everyone else

Fun but a little goth, spring, new, sunshine on the streets, elegant circus Christmas all year long.

Great job! Thank you for your video. Sometimes I choose clasic style adding some color to work. I like casual clothing, I LOVE jeans. I like boho Style as well on dresses, Creative sometimes. I like changing Styles according on my mood.

Hey girl! 😍 Hope you have been well and everything is ok! I still have yet so watch this video (I will tonight after work!), but this video came at the PERFECT time as I am still curating my wardrobe and am about 1/2 through my list of "wanted" items. I am also working on streamlining so that I stop feeling the need to buy more more more. Not as strict as a uniform and not a capsule wadrobe, but somewhere in the middle. Can you talk sometime about juggling more than one style? Because I've got this weird dichotomy of like, either effortless chic neutrals with an edge or slightly styled hobo (not boho, hobo), and that 100% feels like two conflicting closets.
