I've hated playing online because I've always tried it with 2k and thought this is what it feels like on every game, but last year i started playing eafc 24 (FIFA) and the delay is nearly non existent even when playing cross platform

also if you're gonna get a monitor for 2k25, get one with a 120hz refresh rate and an hdmi 2.1 port, 120 fps gives you a much bigger window than 60 fps and a 120hz monitor will help a lot

I turn cross play off and I couldn’t get a game in match making

Turning off crossplay put me in an empty MyTeam triple threat park. Took me a few days to figure out I had to turn cross play back on.

We are in 2024 and 2k is still the same. Just tried to play a game online in the city at whatever one of those streetball events and felt like I was letting my teammates down with how slow I was reacting to shit. I would do a move on my controller and shit would happen a second later. Oh I want to go close out or play help defense. You’re too slow to react to AI opponents because the game detects you ain’t input a movement fast enough. Literally out of my control. Tried to go play with ai teammates so I would figure no lag right? Nah you move too slow. Your ai teammates randomly double. Go under every screen like my career no matter the ratings. Got several badges, none of my moves get the ai to react to anything. Call for a pick and roll, ai plays it perfectly. I literally want my money back at this point

Last year, with cross play turned off, it would only let you match against other players who had also turned cross play off. Made it impossible to find a game. Is it different this year? Can you find games quickly? You would think that if you are on Xbox and turn off cross play, the game will simply match you up with Xbox players instead of matching you against players who have also turned off cross play
