You're 100% on this, very informative, and thanks. I buy three bottles of high-quality oil, often at $30-plus a bottle, and use them within a month. I store them in a zip bag with an ice pack that I replace every twelve hours, and only break out a bottle when I want to use it. Then right back into the bag it goes. I have a 1/2 gallon bottle of extra virgin olive oil that will expire in August 2023. It was kept sealed in the original bottle in a storage shed, which never gets hot in the summer. It looks almost like jelly in the bottle. I hope it is still usable, and not poisonous.
