When I build this defence, I personally use wood instead of wool, but I replace any wood broken with wool

Personally, I don't reccomend the extra wool as it's easier to block in and is cheaper.
Edit: also the butterfly defence is this without the wool

for those who are saying obsidian is better, thats not the best because its extremely expensive

I guess the glass is useful since glass makes a loud noise when destroyed, and there for alerting anyone.

I like using wool because it makes them think my defense is weak just so they see my 12 layers of endstone and obsidian. I love imagining the look on their face

instead, cover it with wood and add endstone in corners and ladders on top so it makes it impossible to blockin

I use the Wali bear defense method
Putting 2 blocks on top of the bed

I play on hive and personally I would replace end stone with deepslate, and glass with wood
