The question: “What’s going through your mind?” In reference to him sitting through an inauguration. His response was perfect. He no longer has to stress about the job that is the presidency. His terms are up and now he can reflect on the past 8 years and what got him to that moment. His response did not have to be about Trump.

That's how to eloquently deflect a question. You don't insult, you don't send vulgar tweets, you don't pick fights with staff and other nations. You don't incite hate toward women and others.
