It’s amazing how music is so timeless and how one piece transforms through Erroll Garner, to Fitzgerald in vocals, and finally coming to the 21st century with new clarity and a new take on each phrase from Laufey.

I’m early so I can say that Laufey is my comfort artist when I’m feeling down and her lyrics just hit me hard. Jazz wasn’t really my type of music until Laufey came up on my YouTube recommendations a month ago and I’m HOOKED on her now. She definitely deserves all this love for bringing back the worst-selling genre.
