Out of curiosity just thought to raise this query - the sequence where nth term= 1/n is convergent becoz of the basic definition of convergence as lim n->infinity (1/n) = 0 (finite and unique) as explained on this video but the harmonic series -- 1+1/2+1/3 + ••••••+1/n +...where general term is 1/n is divergent due to P series test logic. Any thought?

the vdo was awesome... just a small mistake in one part 13:00 here the denominator should be root ( 1 + 1/n^4) + root(1 - 1/n^4)

For series u=1/(2n-1), by taking another series v=1/n for comparison test, u<v.. big series(v) diverging may not imply small series (u) also diverges.. so that is wrong conclusion..

I think there is slightly a mistake in question 3
you took n^4 common while testing the convergence but then you divide it with N^2.
its doesnot change the value but have a look there.

Ig in q4 there is an error.since k comes out to be 1 therefore series should be divergent instrad of convergent.

Sir, in the 2nd sum of test of convergence by p series, how summation of v became 2? While we calculated un/vn as 1???
