How to Cut and Quick Select Layers in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2020

Whenever I first started using Adobe Creative Cloud suite, I struggled with some of the basic functions. One simple shortcut or function that I had to learn via trial and error was how to use the quick cut and quick selection tool within the Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2020 editor.

Then I found the keyboard shortcuts and I have to say, these keyboard shortcuts are some of the most used shortcuts. I think you will also get to using these shortcuts via your keyboard once you learn them too.

The Razor tool is the tool that will let you quickly cut a video file.
The Selection tool will enable you to quickly select a segment or series of video files and layers.

The keyboard shortcuts are:
C is the Razor tool for quick cutting of video files
V is the selection tool for the selection of elements.
