I have seen many tutorials but no one ever mentioned looking at the picked up bar for reference! Great tip!!

I LOVE how you show the thread leaning in the direction of the L or R! So clarifying!

Thank you very much it was very a good explanation to be reminded. I am very happy because I had to check all the time on the videos. Now it is written in my head 😂. Happy knitting

I was so confused with the instructions for making the m1R and m1L. I kept using the right needle instead of the left one for picking up the bar. My cowl was looking very strange. Thanks for the tutorial. 😃

Love your rendition of The Girl from Ipanema!!! Thank you for a simple video, distilled-down. A few others I’ve watched were trying to show too many shortcuts in one step. This is good.

Thank you. Only serious started knitting January 2021. Your tutorial is great I always had to go to Utube and watch again. Thank you for showing how to check with bar angle.

🌴☀️Wow wow wow the way you explain things…I totally love you in spirit Andrea…your so thoughtful & appreciated. I already know how to do these increases BUT keep forgetting which direction to insert the needle. Thank you beloved☀️🌴

EXCELLENT!! This is the BEST explanation ever! I've watched about 10 of these instructions, and this is the one that truly gets it! Most have you pick up the bar with the right hand needle, but then you have to figure out how to get it back on the left needle in the proper direction. There's another video out there that uses the left needle, but calls them the opposite - they say the m1R is leaning to the left and vice-versa! I've seen enough of these to know that's wrong! OMG so confusing! This is the one, people - you won't get a better or clearer instruction than this one!! Andrea Mowry, thank you so much!!! PS, fyi, there are videos where people don't make you watch them knit all the way across, they pause their camera and all we see is the important stuff. In case you'd be interested in doing that.

I watched several videos in order to see these stitches, and yours, by far, is the best reference for me! I also envy your dexterity in demonstrating both English and Continental style knitting. So my new goal is to learn to knit as well as you do here. Thank you!🧶

You’ll never know how much these tutorials mean to all of us out here. Bravo!! I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a Andrea’s “Tips and Guides “ hard cover book. Just think about it. Things just like the tip on looking at the picked up bar for reference….
