RANKING EVERY Pathfinder 2e Setting (in the Core Rulebook)

D&D made me a complete homebrew hardo.

However when I read the Pathfinder rulebook for the first time last year, the uniqueness of Golarion perked my interest. The regions in the Inner Sea were actually INTERESTING and DIFFERENT. It almost made me want to run an adventure in this pre-written setting.

SO, I decided to rank every region in the order I'd want to run them (or play in them but that'll never happen.) This list is based JUST on what's in the Core Rulebook so GOMD if one of these is sick in some supplement I haven't read. But let me know the supplement cause that sounds interesting.

I suppose you could run one of these settings in 5e, but Pathfinder's rule set is just so much cooler ya know.

00:00 Intro you'll skip
00:11 DISCLAIMERS
00:28 n00b island
01:00 is that the Barrens song? (it is)

03:13 Nilfgaard is better than the Northern Realms
04:04 TW for GOP
05:04 I'm basic
05:50 Fantasyland!
06:29 A Whole New Wooooorld

OMG your dogs are adorable and out of control!
You're gonna LOVE the new 300 page book they'll be releasing soon about Absalom! =D
Paizo loves to go gonzo and crazy with its campaign setting. Dunno if you like scifi but Starfinder has some crazy ideas. (Starship battles against giant space monsters!) But yeah Golarion is like a giant Disney World but it's horrible and AWESOME.
I shared this on the PF2e subreddit btw. More people should watch your stuff!

I'm going to say that I think Cheliax itself isn't the most interesting part of Old Cheliax. I think that title goes to Nidal, an entire country devoted to the worship of a god that's basically Pinhead, ruled by three immortals that struck a bargain with him, and cast in a perpetual gloom. The details about that country legit make it the creepiest place in the Inner Sea.

Shouts for the representation, the great and hilarious edits, and the puppies featured (the real stars, let's be honest). Great job, buddy! Killin it!

I pretty much just use homebrew worlds, but, I’m definitely taking inspiration from this video. Keep up the good work!

Hey, I wrote that adventure on Promise! Let me know how lit it is if you get a chance to play it. Great video!

Best part about that lake in the Eye of Dread region, Lake Encarthan, is the island in the middle - the Isle of Terror. This place is the home base of Tar-Baphon, and he chose the location bc the barrier between this plane and the Negative Energy Plane is reeeally thin there. So thin, in fact, that it warps the islands inhabitants, occasionally plane shifts horrific creatures to the island, and even influences the weather to create NEGATIVE ENERGY STORMS. Metal as hell.

Nice video of pathfinder 2e.
I am a bit curious why in the description you have total war: warhammer II though

YES! I love the impossible lands, especially the mana wastes.

The thing about the broken lands, to me, is that, in a way, it kind of doesn't make sense? Like the two most civilized places there are on the far side of the wilderness for no good reason... which, I mean... whatever, Brevoy and Mendev suck but it would've made sense to put them closer to the Eye of Dread and Saga Lands and have Razmiran on the far side.

That said, I think it deserves to be a little higher. Between the country founded by an ultra-powerful wizard masquerading as a god, the country that had an alien spacecraft crash into a mountain and disperse sci-fi technology, aliens, and androids, and the country that was, until recently, overrun with demons that came pouring out of a massive fissure in the ground that's visible from space I think there's more to be interested in there than there isn't.

Hi Tabletop Bro,
You have the sweetest dogs, and you must be a nice person, cause - man they love to be close to you. I have ADHD so I got 65 percent dog fun and 35 percent Pathfinder world setting out of this video.
Have a nice day, bro! :D

I have to disagree with you as Forgotten Realms second edition has dozens of amazing scenario books. Old Tomes... ;-) But you deserve the like because your video is cool and was good to watch.

I would say Forgotten Realms post 4th got pretty lame, though.

Golarion is a cool 6 for me. While I'd give (old) Forgotten Realms a solid 8, 5 and (old) Ravenloft an amazing 10 (I don't like Strahd, though).

Um, it's all the same setting, Golarion. Those are just different regions of the world.

Honestly, the ruleset in PF2e is the main draw [for me] as I also prefer to homebrew. PF2e's very balanced [yet crunchy], but more intuitive to run as a GM. I like the added strategic side to the game as well and the simplicity of the 3 action economy. I feel like PF2e, due to intelligent design and breadth, is easier to ad-lib and homebrew while preserving balance.

Great channel. Looking forward to more. Thanks.

I created an account just to comment that the frame at 01:26 should be your page's official cover photo.

Also great content! Can you please DM a campaign for me and my friends?

I'm not a fan of you wearing a hood in videos. That's a personal preference.
