Here is my Important Video on Hormone Replacement therapy:

I'm 60, and I found it tricky to get estrogen cream (covered by insurance). First you need to have a medical condition because doctors no longer provide "hormone therapy" to anyone unless there's what they call a medical condition - menopause is not considered a medical condition even though we all have a long list of side effects... Now if you play their game, you can get it, and get it covered by your insurance, but you must lie, or maybe you don't have to. This is what you say, "My vagina is itchy and it feels dry" - feel free to elaborate. "It hurts to have sex." If you say those 2 things, you'll get your tube of estrogen which will come with applicators for your vagina, but we all know where we're putting it ;) Thanks to Dr.Rajani
-You're Welcome.

I am 65 and I am using prescribed 0.3% estriol cream for 9 months. It has not changed my blood estrogen levels but it has significantly improved my skin. My skin elasticity and tone have improved.

Based on the title of this video - How to Apply Estrogen Cream for a Wrinkle Free Face - I thought this was going to be a tutorial of how to apply estrogen cream to the face. I would like more information about exactly how much estrogen cream to apply to the face and neck and how often to apply it.

I have been on hormone replacement therapy that contains estrogen and testosterone for 30 years. I am 74 years old and my doctor told me she wished all her patients were as fortunate as I was. She said I didn't look like most 74 year old women. I am not a vain person, but I am so grateful for the Gynecologist who knew women need HRT. I love your videos. They are very informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

The WHI Women’s Health Initiative did a horrible injustice with their faulty study of synthetic hormones on women. They did try to correct it saying they were wrong but the effect was catastrophic & many doctors are still of the belief that estrogen causes cancer. Many doctors gaslight women when they ask for replacement. It’s sad. So thank you for standing for women!! The San Antonio Cancer Symposium came out with the results, showcasing new studies using bio-identical hormones, showing clear evidence that women who replace estrogen live longer, have stronger bones & don’t suffer from osteoporosis, frozen shoulder & other debilitating skeletal muscular issues. It showed clear evidence that optimal levels of Estrogen reduces their risk of cancer! You never hear of a pregnant woman getting cancer diagnosis. Her estrogen levels are at their highest. Estrogen is an essential hormone. So is progesterone & testosterone for women. We need all three. I’m a huge advocate.

I have been on compounded versions for decades now. It does not stop aging but it definately slows down aging. Inside and outside. Once our hormones tank we start to age inside and out. It is compounded specifically via bloodwork so my Dr knows how much of every hormone I need. Not a one size fits all product. That can get us into trouble because not everyone has the same deficency level. I get the bloodwork and perscription from my Naturpathic Dr. The compounding pharmacy is state licenced and does other drugs like all other pharmacies. Go for it! I still look amazing and feel amazing as compared to my peers.

I mix my tretinoin, estradiol and La Mer on the back of my hand and apply it to my face. I simply cannot believe the difference!! I use a little glycolic every couple of days for the glow Dr. R mentions. I am so grateful for this video - thanks, Dr. Rajani!!

I’m 62 and I’ve just started using it two months ago full results are seen in about six months but I’ve seen like an 80% improvement and wrinkles throughout my entire face and neck including the lines in my chest. It’s truly a miracle.
I combine it with a retinol at night and use castor oil on top of everything as my regimen every night

Dr Rajani, I love your videos.
Real estradiol and real progesterone (not Premarin and not Progestin) is safe and good for women. It protects bones, heart, brain, skin… That WHI study was years ago was very poorly done and had hurt so many women by not giving them estrogen or enough estrogen. The lowest dose for the shortest amount of time is one of the worst things a dr can tell a woman. I’m 61 with a hysterectomy done 15 years ago which should not have been done. I should have been given progesterone to thin the uterus and get rid of a fibroid.
I get estradiol and testosterone in pellet form every 3 months. Progesterone is taken orally. When I feel like I’m running low on estrogen I do patches and cream. 😊 Love my estrogen. It makes me a nicer person and I know I’m protecting myself. 😊 my hubby is happy too.

I am fifteen years out from breast cancer and was told time and again that I couldn’t do HRT. That is wrong. I found a wonderful gynecologist who has done her research and is able to tailor the right program. It may not be for everyone but I am happy to say that I now am on progestin and use vaginal estrogen along with a patch and a face cream that my doc has compounded thru a pharmacy here in Portland that I have used for years. They are great but Dr R is right not all these compounders are made the same. So it’s good to check them out. I was thrilled to find this gynecologist because I was tired of being told no without any flexibility in thinking. The research does not support that HRT can’t be used by those with a cancer history. It is important not to run out and start applying progesterone/estrogen creams without consulting a doc. But with the right doc you can tailor a treatment that is best for you. The only thing for me is that my estrogen cream is rather thick and I use it before my retinol and I’m not sure if it inhibits the retinol. I use Medik8 which is supposed to be encapsulated and very good at penetration. Wishing you all well out there. Especially if you are in the area of the Hurricanes. Big hugs.

Femigel 1.25mg per pump of gel. Since you can use 1 pump on each wrist, use both on your face twice per week.

I'm 73 and I have been using my "down there" estradiol cream for 3 years...I use a pea size amount and mix it in my hand with pure plant based facial cream. Everyone believes me to be 55 to 60 ish. And it's true because when asked my age, I ask them to guess...! The only thing I am concerned about is putting it on my neck where my thyroid is.

Sweet almond oil also thickens the skin and helps with creping too.

FYI-Cost Plus Drugs (Mark Cuban's pharmacy company) carries the same Estradiol creme I currently get with BSBS insurance for anywhere from $45-115 for less than $16.

I started HRT a few months ago…. (Patch and progesterone pill bc I still have my uterus) I’m working with estradiol with Fantastic results! I am seeing one of the premier HRT drs in the nation…. This is NOT a light subject… so important to see a dr who really knows what they’re doing. Some things to think about like cancer history and ocular migraines. Oh, and drs often WAY over prescribe estrogen! I just asked my dr who said they’ve approved estradiol for the face in France…. Not in the US quite yet.
Aging is NOT for the weak!
