I am not sure but I would think that they were greedy for wanting the money thru medicare that pays for rehab after a hospital stay. This a normal way to make money for the state run nursing homes.

It was a disaster when it through the facility where I work. Covid + dementia residents wandering around unmasked trying to keep them in their rooms was like chasing chickens. Poor souls didn't understand. No sooner you get one back in their room getting them settled 2 more pop out go in different directions that can go on all day.

As a healthcare worker I salute you. That's amazing that you purchased test kits on your own. That's awesome...some of the biggest Nursing homes have failed to do that. Thank you for taking proactive measures for your staff and resident safety.

ITS OBVIOUS THAT HIS FACILITIES WERE UNPREPARED AND THE TYPE OF WORKERS UNDERSTOOD LITTLE AND WERE TOLD LESS OF WHAT TO DO BEGINNING IN JANUARY!!!

All workers should be tested and temps taken daily for they are the ones who leave the nursing home and return to work the next day. The residents are at risk if proper care is not in place. The larger the nursing home the more the risk to those who are able to leave and return to the building .... the workers.
