Fyi for some people (like myself) if its not working you may have a program button you have to press on your actual garage door opener as an extra step. Thankfully my wifes used CX-5 still had the manual and it goes over everything step by step how to set it up in there. Page 4-89 and 4-90👍

This method definitely didn't work for my 2023 Mazda 3 Turbo. Actually in the owner's manual, it states you might have to take action at the garage door motor too. Looks like you're holding a Genie opener there. I have the same one. So yeah, this video only shows half the steps. I still don't have mine paired yet

When I push 1 and 3 buttons simultaneously it blinks red and not green. Any ideas? I have a 2023 Mazda cx-5 preferred. Thanks!

Not the correct method on a lot of Mazda such as the CX-9.
