It's interesting how these minuscule details are needed and just shows you how far science has gone. I figured Kelvins were just for extremely hot temperatures before but this video showed me other uses.

In all of my general/organic chemistry classes they made sure we knew how to convert to Kelvin due to how much more accurate it actually is compared to the standard Fahrenheit scale. Celsius is more accurate than Fahrenheit but it still does now compare to how accurate Kelvin is when solving different chemistry problems.

Hello Professor! It was interesting to learn about why the customer review chart was on a scale from one star to five stars in total, instead of simply having customers rate the product from "poor" to "great". People rely on both categorical and numerical variables to make sense of the world around them. Having a number scale makes it much easier for people to understand and rate a product compared to adjectives, which can be misinterpreted and are usually subjective to an individual. This reminds me of my co-worker an I discussing whether math was invented or was it discovered by us. Did we invent math to make more sense of the world around us. It would be interesting to know anyone's thoughts on this question!
