Damn you could actually hear the knife cutting through the crust in the beginning of the vid, don't agree with the mayo but nice crust

A lot of fried Asian dishes use corn starch in the rub to make meat crispier. I wonder if some of that mixed into the rub could help make a good crust, too? Mayo + corn starch + seasoning? Sounds like a Guga video now

Or you just heat a carbon steel pan until it smokes and drop the steak in directly from the fridge. Couple of minutes on each side. Oven at 150C optional, but don't overcook it like this one.

Mayonnaise is a great way to make a crispy grilled cheese sandwich. Just swap out butter for mayo on your bread 👍🏼
