About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

Vocally that has to be one of his finest live performances I’ve ever witnessed and the pure joy he experienced delivering it was a pleasure to watch….magnificent.

Written by a 19 year old Bowie in 1966 and encapsulating that drive to leave home for the big city, find your crowd and duly fit in. Endless talent...

David Bowie is a legend. Never forgotten. Love him, and miss him everyday. My entire childhood. Always had the kindest heart and the greatest looks. Most intelligent man. I wish and will always wish I got the chance too see him on tour. Labyrinth by far, is my favorite movie ever. Forever on..legend..

Legend.

I was sat in my van at work when I heard of his passing. I cried, not because I knew him, because I listened to his music all through my childhood to adulthood and I knew we'd never ever see the like of him again. He gave me so much joy over the years!

He was a massive influence on everyone that enjoyed, wrote, played or sang music.

Superb, brilliant performance. It's hard to believe how old this song is yet still sounds so fresh. Greatest songwriter/performer that ever lived x

Oh wow.
This is my favourite of all David Bowie’s live shows but I never knew there were 22 songs and only 11 aired! I would absolutely LOVE to see the whole thing . I hope this audience realised how incredibly lucky and privileged they were ❤️❤️

Love how one of his earliest songs sounds so timeless so may years later. He is clearly in his element here. The way his face lights up as the song progresses and his mature but still strong “full voice” are wonderful to see and hear.

Bowie was always a South London Boy at heart. The world turned to crap when he passed.

It was David’s style of singing, as heard in this song, when I first heard him in 1969 on the Space Oddity single and the b-side, Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud that grabbed my attention, it was so different and so English, not faux American…unique and special! 👉✌️🧐
