Finally... this was probably the most useful vid I've watched in my hunt to find my next TV.

Thanks!

I agree that the miniled will be better in almost all conditions because its significant higher brightness and another thing is it wont suffered from burn in so you can enjoy that beauty of the screen in HDR for alot longer time.

Great video, I brought the 75" QNED91 last year and its been amazing. I was on the fence between this and a C1 at the time, and with price being a factor the QNED represented such good value it was hard to pass up. I can say it's been a great choice and I've been very happy with it. In December I added an XBOX Series X and gaming on this screen with 120Hz, ALLM and AMD FreeSync has been pure joy. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a top tier LG screen packed with the latest features, with support for 120Hz VRR gaming but at a good price.

I don't watch much TV during the day except during lunch time when I'm working from home so I went with the OLED. The perfect blacks are just stunning. I found the high end mini LED 75" and OLED 77" TV's were priced very similar. So price isn't an issue anymore, it's just down to personal preference.

The comparison images of the reflective surface of the two TVs was a great addition. What I really wanted to see in order to commit to QLED. Great video!

Personally, I think both of these technologies are excellent.

OLED is best for me any way. The only downside is the burn in... The contrast and color result of the video clip is just about how good you set your tv up. No way to compare on that aspect.

Damn it! I thought I was sold on the OLED but this video changed literally everything. Now I'm going to go back and double check because the prices from a G2 OLED to a QNED that is actually slightly bigger, is MASSIVE by about 400%. $4, 800 for a G2 OLED and only $1, 600 for a QNED. Guess I should go QNED and just be happy with such a massive savings.

Great video. For hundreds of video reviews and comparisons that I watched and thousands of comments and opinions that I read for weeks, I finally made my decision.

I just bought LG QNED 55 inch. Image quality beyond description in words. Seeing is believing!

The detail and accuracy when showing the water and the road make the QNED seem even better. I already liked it more before seeing this because I went into BestBuy to see them in person and the QNED TV has better viewing angles without getting dark since in a living room, not everybody gets to sit directly in front of the TV and some are at more of an angle. Plus the QNED is $400 less for the same size and specs. (65")

This seals the deal on a QNED85 over a C2 for me. I won't mind saving the money.

Love this review! I perhaps have changed my mind and considering Mini LED instead of Oled.

Lol personally me and the wife are constantly dimming our TVs. We have a LG GX and rarely do I think it needs higher brightness. Just yesterday she was saying that the next bedroom TV will be required to be able to almost turn off the screen when dimmed all the way down.

I bought a qned85 for my bright living room 3 months ago and I am well pleased and would buy it again. I'm not anti oled but this just made more sense for my situation. I might get an oled one day for my bedroom but I have a Sony x930e in it and it's too good of a tv to replace.

I opted for the Samsung Q90B as it comes in a 43” model and I use it as my computer monitor. Blacks and colors are amazing. It’s super bright, and I never have to worry about burn-in or dimming features since I’m using it as a PC monitor. Also, the antireflective treatment on this particular model is amazing. The screen looks pitch black in even in daytime when the room is bright, I can barely see my reflection in it, yet it doesn’t have that dull matte screen look either.

cant we just have both. LOL. For daytime viewing in a bright room i like the mini led for brightness and reflection handling. I saw the LG in store and it looks superb for the price point. Now at night time if watching a movie i personally like to see it in the proper dark room setting with no lights on to give me the experience. And for that OLED is just amazing. The again the ABL is an issue for me with OLED. I do agree miniled is close enough and its good enough for me but I have to see LGs processing this year with the new QNED90 of 2022. This is a great video and honestly there needs to be an update once the new QNEDS come out later this year. Great job!

We just purchased the 55” LG QNED 85 at an outrageous price here in Canada($798.00). We hope we made the right decision. We upgraded from the 2014 Samsung H6. Couldn’t pass up that price as it was $1698CDN original price. Haven’t received it yet as it is coming from another store. Hopefully it I’ll be big step up from our old one.
