"one clear choice" but I'm not going to say it. come on.

Mini led TV doesn't need a darker room, last longer. Even though oled has better viewing angle, but who really watch from a 120° angle. Even the idea of a curved flat TV is not very useful other than a conversation piece. You still miss the view when you pass the curve.

When it comes to TV, oled
For my PC, i'll take mini led over oled just because of potential burn in issue with static ui.

I have a Samsung 55” qn90a mini-led and a 48” LG C2 OLED. Both are great TVs and offer great viewing experiences. I do like the mini-led more for daytime viewing as it gets bright enough to overpower glare.

With a bright living room, the winner is clear for me. MiniLED all day. 👍

As a guy who really likes rhythm gaming even nowadays (I somehow still have Rock Band drums!), the instant response of OLED, either WOLED or QD-OLED, work heavily in my favor. honestly the next thing I want to figure out is minimizing audio lag.

Mini LED is better than OLED. More brightness, detail, better motion processing, better overall picture and no burn in! You can't get an OLED in 85"! Just got the Sony X95L 85" and it is Mini LED all the way.

I have an 85" Samsung Mini LED... OLED was more for the same size, but I'm sure I would have been happy with that tech as well. I have no regrets as games, movies and TV are all spectacular. I had to turn down the brightness quite a bit for my basement setting though, so I'm glad I went with the QN85B over the brighter 90B.

The burn-in isn't something that "could technically happen". It WILL happen, inevitably. It's part of what OLED is by design. Only question is "when?" Sure, new tricks buy more time, pushing the problem beyond the warranty period, but thats as far as it goes. Saying otherwise is wishful thinking. Some people might say there's no VISIBLE burn-in on the newest panels: sure, because it's hidden by diminishing the state of all neightbouring pixels, basically "burning" the whole screen to level with the worst parts. Which in return brings visible banding to the table, and it's not good either. So... miniLED is the way to go if you want the screen to last. That is until microLED comes into play eventually.

Just bought 77 inch S95C, an upgrade from my 7 year old 65 inch LG B7 and the brightness difference is astonishing. When I turn on game mode I had to decrease the brightness, it is that high. OLED TV's improved so much over the years. Also using Samsung Neo G8 OLED monitor, never regretted it. The colors and contrast is so amazing. Every panel has a lifespan, be it OLED or LED doesn't matter, they are gonna die. If I can use a panel for a solid 5-7 years, that is enough for me. You will want to buy new technology anyway. Like when the micro led costs go downs, everyone will want one.

OLED doesn't need to get as bright to produce the same colors because each pixel illuminates itself. I have a C2 and watching anything in Dolby Vision is jaw dropping

So there isn't one clear choice then. Thanks for wasting my time.

Thanks for the video, my question is do OLED's still fade in colour over time? No one seems to mention it.

Mini led better.

Oled can only last awhile before burn in, and too much contrast

MINI LED is still way cheaper when it comes to flagships. In Germany a 77 inch Sony A95L costs 6.200 € while a 75 inch X95L costs 3.200 €. Even a 85 inch X95L costs 4.200 Euro, so 2.000 Euro less than the OLED flagship...

One of the most useful tech reviews I've seen. Enough tech for understanding, but way more real world demonstration and insights. Your personality and energy is tops! Thanks. JT from downunder 🇦🇺
