One of my favorite things about The Lego Movie’s is when they do a smear they use actual Lego for it. Like when Robin jumps to get the Phantom Projector his legs become a long flat peach brick, or when Miles here is whipping his phone around, his hand gets a black horn thing. It’s such a cool attention to detail

Aside from that one scene from The LEGO Movie which compiles a bunch of Brickfilms in Lord Business’ monitors (and, let’s be real here, that scene was only there because it was part of a sweepstakes of sorts and most people didn’t care about it), you’re the first YouTube Brickfilmer to have made a scene in a mainstream film. And I gotta say, you were Lord and Miller’s best choice (not just out of people who do CGI LEGO videos but in general). Well done.
