The fact that this scene was animated by a 14 year old kid is absolutely insane.
Context: Preston Mutanga a 14 year old Canadian boy made a lego version of the across the spider verse trailer. The guys at sony was impressed at this work and they called Preston when at the time they didnt know he was just a kid. They requested him to make this 1 min scene and he delivered it.
This kid is absolutely amazing. BRAVO!

Dude, thank you for bringing Lego animation back to the big screen. After the Lego Movie 2, I thought it was all done. I didn’t want the awesome animation style to just be cast aside and forgotten. When I saw this scene in theatres, it brought me such joy that we got a spider man in the movie. When I found out later that a 14 year old kid that I was subscribed to on YouTube animated it, I was just blown away. It was such a treat even if we didn’t get to see him in action. So thank you! ❤
