To finish simply end with a slip stitch into the first double crochet after the 3 chains of your first wave.

Welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today's tutorial I will show you how to do this fast and easy wave stitch border for baby blankets and more.
I'm using "Pound of love" yarn. The sample shown I made using a 4.5mm crochet hook.

If this is your first time here, I've been doing crochet tutorials in Spanish for a couple of months now and have been asked by a lot of my subscribers to do tutorials in English too. I hope you like and subscribe to my channel and if you see a tutorial in Spanish and would like for me to do it in English, please comment below with the tutorial number and I will gladly do it. I hope you enjoy my channel and if you decide to subscribe, thank you in advance.

Thank you so much. I was looking for something just like this. 🙂. I wanted a border to add to the bottom of a simple sweater and the bottom of it's sleeves. I'm still very new to crocheting. But I'll get there. Thus is perfect and I've saved it.

I’m looking for a border for my block stitch blanket. I usually use quite simple borders, to let my blankets shine, but this is a double bed counterpane, so I thought something with a little more strength and structure was called for. Now I’m a little overwhelmed, there are so many! I love this border, though I think it will be more visible and beautiful for my next baby blanket. This time, I want to show off the pretty border! Thank you.

I made without cutting yarn, it turned out beautiful. Made in all one color.

What a fantastic stitch/pattern! I love it! I’ve been looking for some nice and quick border to use on my blankets (as straight edge gets a bit boring after some time) and this is exactly what I was after! Simple to do but gives a very nice look to the finished product. Thank you very much for sharing it with us x

I definitely like the way you accomplished the corners. I've noticed some with one row sc first row the corners don't match up. I'm way too picky about my finished work for that. Heaven forbid a crocheter gets my work. Ya know? 😲🤣 Seriously it's for myself that I maintain high standards in all my creations. Your voice sounds like you end all your sentences with an exclamation mark to get our attention. You have it. You have it. 😏❤

You are very clear with your instructions. I love the pattern of the blanket. I saw in a below comment the link for the pattern. However, when clicked on the link, it indicates this is a private video. Was wondering if you are willing to make public again?

It's a beautiful border, thank you for sharing. You talk SO FAST though. I watched first without working it. Now when I'm ready to put on the border, I'll have to stop your instructions ALOT, cause I'm 67 and can't keep up with u millennial young people who seem to think everyone talks at full speed. Lord have mercy, relax a little. Enjoy life. Stop and actually see the miracles around you. They are great!! It's ok if your video is a little longer. Plus, crocheting is to be relaxing and I felt stressed just watching & listening. You're a fast crocheter like my niece. She's always stressed so I don't see where it's relaxing her at all. Seriously though, you did a beautiful border and that's all that matters. I WILL WATCH again when I'm ready to add my border on. Blessings, L :)

Beautiful boarder! I was just wondering if you can do this with any number of stitches in a blanket, or does it have to be a multiple of 4?

I did this stitch in a size L hook. Working on the borders now.

Beautiful stitch, but I didn't catch when you attached the yarn to begin the half dc.
