Deep Rock Galactic has been one my most requested games for me to cover! So now that I've dived DEEP into this game, I can finally give the people what they want in another episode of "For Noobs!" ROCK AND STONE BABY!

The Intro song is "The One and Lonely" by Carter Ace

The Outro song is "Bone Theme" by Michael Wyckoff

One more super important thing this video didn't really mention: *DRG's Seasons are completely free.* The only paid Dlc this game has are cosmetic packs, and they're really just there if you want to support the devs more. Everything in the Season pass and Cosmetic tree is unlocked by playing the game, and if you don't unlock everything before the season ends, every new skin, color, and cosmetic can simply be found on missions and bought in the shop, so no cosmetics are removed.
It might seem like such a small thing, but in a day and age where battle passes cost just as much, if not more than the actual game, DRG is a welcome breath of fresh air.

the pinging tool has more than one use, if you only hold it out and don’t ping you can see an outline of your teammates and how far away they are. this also applies to bosco during solo!

I recognise the fact that a pinging tool might seem redundant when you could just tap a button, however the fact that bringing up the tool, even for a second, shows you the location of other dwarves, Molly and certain objectives more than makes up for it

After playing for a while you'll find yourself often quickly bringing up the tool to check up on other player's locations

Bonus tip: tapping E while pointing at something will set a fixed waypoint there that can help you find something later, or help you with digging out some minerals

Edit: if you know the timings well enough you can also cancel some parts of reload animations to reload faster (saves halves of seconds, don't tell the devs)

This video is essentially free advertising for the game, which is awesome since deep rock galatic rocks! (No pun intended)

Scout grapple isn’t completely selfish cause you can get hard to reach minerals, especially when you pair it with engineer platforms. Ex: some gold generated in the ceiling and no one can get it but you

A little extra help from a scout main:

Scout is more team play than you think when you do it RIGHT.
- His Lighting Torches can help the whole team see things for a bigger radius and it stay for a good amount of time as well.
- Scout and Engineer are a love couple. Yes it is real, because they are like bread and butter. Remember the platforms engi can place, usually he can place it under mineral spots on the wall where most of other classes can not get to easily, scout can just zip up there, stand on the platforms and mine it safely. So every scout and engineer if they work well together, they are unstoppable.
- Scout with the quick revive perk equipped can be the huge medic of the team, the scout can zip around, reaching places that are hard to get to and revive a fallen teammate, and the quick revive will make his ability even better.
- Most of his throwables are supportive, slow down enemies, freeze them, disturb them and stun them. Non are straight up "kill" directly.

There are more to learn, you bloody leaf lover. Good luck down there, Rock n' Stone.

To address the flying/medic dwarf ideas you've said; You can turn the Gunner into a field medic if you have proper shield upgrades and the Field Medic perk. Also, you can find Jet Boots on missions randomly, which let you fly. But they're on a use-based cooldown, so make sure to not overheat them! They can also burn enemies who are under you

Arguably one of the best things about Deep Rock is the OST, which goes harder than both rock and stone.

I think the ping tool is very cool, it adds a more in-depth system to the game than just "look here" and has a lot of uses like outlining teammates and objectives, placing a waypoint (helps me bc my memory is bad), seeing what something is, of course pinging and then staring at something with the laser part because my blind ass can't find the marker, and for Bosco if it was just a single button press you wouldn't be able to direct him to fire rockets.

But most importantly spamming we're rich, mushroom, and goo sack is the ultimate purpose of the laser pointer.

Just a reminder, it's canon that injuries caused by resupply pods are not covered by company insurance.

to be fair, the ping tool is double use, you can use it to ping things to your team, or hold it out as an "assets important to DRG" wallhack so you can find your homies, resupply pods, drop pods, and other important things on a per mission basis (like the morkite refinery, dorretta, or the minehead). you can even set waypoints with it if you need to make a marker you can find later.

As a somewhat greybeard, I welcome all the noobs to enjoy this game. Rock and stone miners!

DRG is truly the last "fun" video game that will ever exist. And that's all thanks to the overwhelmingly positive community and the amazing devs. I have much respect for Ghost Ship and Coffee Stain🙏

I decided that this should be an entirely different comment from my original comment though this isn't that significant.
I just want to say thank you Macro your video made me remember why I played DRG and why I loved it, I haven't played it in a while but after writing this I will.
Thank you Macro, for everything. Rock and Stone!
