Can't wait to see what Kenya's Emmanuel Wanyonyi has to offer this season. Finished fourth in his first senior championships. A huge bag of potential there.

Korir is such a beautiful athlete. Love watching him

Incredible that Korir ran significantly faster in the second lap than the first. That’s insanely hard to do. Well measured from Korir, who always seems to make it happen when it counts.

I grew up with the Swazis in South Africa and they loved to bring a degree of drama to the closing of a race by that same rhythmic head-nodding. It's both a habit and a cadence ritual that Korir has used for some time now ;)

I think the feeling of almost falling to the ground in the beggining gives power to athletes to finish strong

Most people do not know that korir is also 400M runner, that is why he is finishing it fast!

Crazy to think that Rudisha would’ve been 3 seconds beyond these guys at the halfway point and held that the whole way

Korir’s head was rocking and rolling 😂😂

That Canadian will be a problem. He has the physique of Rudisha, if he can shed some weight he might dominate this race. As for Wanyonyi his tactic let him down. He had to push all the way from the back during the last 200m. If he had stayed in the middle instead of back, he could have ended up on the podium.

If Arop doesn't trip that's a gold.

There is so many good 800 meter runners.
Kenyans rule 800m.

The event could really do with a fully fit & in-form Brazier & Burgin! Like to see Arop shed just a little weight.
