As much as I love David Rudisha in London 2012, I find this 800m Olympic victory to be even more inspiring. Yes, he broke the World record for his first Olympic gold but to return 4 years later, , having had knee surgery less than 1 year before, and win with style, is incredibly inspiring.
Whenever I start to doubt myself, if I can reach my next goal, I only have to think of this incredible athlete and go for it.

If Rudisha hadn’t won he would definitely have had words with his Kenyan teammate. The guy ran like an absolute twit, messing up Rudisha’s rhythm and almost tripping him up too.

I ran a lot when I was young but the 800m was always something special. I’d lay on the track afterwards completely wreaked 😅! I never felt so alive !
