I was so happy when Amatsuki gathered with Hashiyan as Melost after CoF hasn't got any updates, and then suddenly Hashiyan inactive makes me sad all over again remembering CoF. Now XYZ is in the same situation, Luz got arrested and shit 😭 I hope XYZ won't tear apart.

If you're an OG utaite fans, you probably know about Faneru's retirement, Ren's retirement, the infinitive hiatus of Pointfive [ consists of Clear, Dasoku, Asamaru, amu, Mi-chan ], Fukuwa's sudden hiatus, Freedel's departure, etc... They all came back, one way or another. Some don't (coughTyoumiryoucough), but a lot of them do for sure. I feel like as long as they're still good friends, and as long as they still love singing, they will eventually come back, one way or another, even if it's just for one song.

As fo CoF, I wonder what's the reason, because it is definitely not because they can no longer pursuit singing as their career. But Seeing that they're still good friends, there's hope.

Amatsuki and un:c was together on HikiFes that Mafumafu organised though, so that's nice. The song "World Domination" that Mafumafu made for HikiFes 2019 has the 2 of them singing as a duet for a part of the song too.

The reason why Soraru3 brought up One Piece was because 96chan's initial lines which you translated as "let's meet again in x years" was actually a reference to One Piece!
I can hear in the clip she's actually saying "let's meet at Sabaody in x years", which is a direct reference to the series where Luffy and crew agrees to reunite at Sabaody (a place in the show) in 2 years with the intention of getting stronger during that time period, which is why she goes "I'll get stronger" right after she says that.

I became an utaite fan a year before CoF entered hiatus, so I somewhat got to enjoy them as a group? But you know... I'm honestly not sad. They're still most likely friends, and I doubt that'll ever change. Still, it's satisfying with where their current paths have gone. Doesn't mean I don't want them to reunite the group! Hahaha! Though I feel like this was more of an experiment since it took a while before there were a lot of utaite concerts. Don't know if I should count those that became professional singers (ex. nano), but yeah! Maybe someday.

CoF was the first utaite group I loved. I remember getting so happy when they would upload a new cover or song and I think it was Curtain Call (if i remember correctly) that ended up being their last song together. I waited so long for a new song, even stalked their NND, but there was no new content. I ended up accepting that they had broken up quietly and continued missing them ever since. Seeing how the members still mention each other now and then makes me hope that one day we can get a reunion.

As someone who knew them since 2013, watching this video is such a rollercoaster of emotions. I never realized how much I've miss them. I remember making covers of their songs with my friends, making our own circle of friends. Thank you so much for the translation! It did make me cry!

As an OG fan the title alone meade me shed a tear. I really miss looking forward to their new songs and interactions on twitter especially watching their live broadcasts I've seen a lot of utaites going on hiatus or permanently leaving utaite world but I'm so happy seeing them going strong that a lot of them are now singers and voice actors and they are still collaborating. I remember since utaites rarely or never show their faces, them posting their selfies or any self photo would be a real treasure. Such memories will be unforgettable for me I'm so glad to be an old fan. Hello to new fans~
