Actually going outside with wet hair does increase your chance of getting a cold. Although it doesn't mean you will definitely get one, it does increase you're chance of getting a cold slightly as your body is more susceptible to pathogens as your nose and ear hairs which help to catch pathogens trying to enter the body become brittle as your body is colder due to your hair being wet and the wind making your hair feel colder, by the nose hairs becoming brittle it means that they are not able to catch pathogens and bacteria from entering your body. But if they do enter then the hydrochloric acid in your stomach and your white blood cells usually deal with the pathogens before they can do any real harm to you as the white blood cells have probably come across the cold before so the memory cells remember what the pathogen looks like and knows how to fight it off. ☺️
