HELP! rare ps4 controller defect. Only blinking 3 orange lights

Put the cable in so it can charge if not turn the bluetooth on (hold ps button and select at the same time) and try to reconnect it once it stops blinking.

Nothing works, if you press ps button with what ever button, it still blinks 3 times in orange and then shuts off.

You need to disable the malfunctioning controller using a working controller or device head to the settings screen bluetooth devices disable the connected malfunctioning controller and then sync the malfunctioning controller wirelessly by holding the share and playstation, you should see on the bluetooth of scanes items your controller hit triangle and pair it using another controller or working device. It should work then.

Use a safety pin or a needle and press the reset button on the back of the controller that's in that tiny little hole

J'ai le même problème sur une de mes manettes, j'ai changé le joystick toute les soudures sont bonnes pourtant j'ai la manette qui clignote 3 fois en orange quand j'appuie sur ps ou que je la branche.
Je vais prochainement dessouder le joystick que j'ai installé pour voir si c'est lui le problème, en attendant si quelqu'un a une supposition au problème rencontré je suis preneur.

All you have to do is charged a controller on one of the things that you charge your phones and then wait like 30 minutes and then boom it will be working

It has to be the sensor tab button. So here's my story. I have two controllers one gold(1) one black(2) with red buttons, my black one has a defected left analog (which is so annoying) I like my custom black controller cuz of the red buttons so I wanted to replace the module from the black one and place the gold's module (green small board with analogs soldered into) cuz the gold one is a functional controller. Once I had replaced the gold's module into the black one it blinked yellow 3 times when I press the home button, I got frustrated wondering what I did. I spent 3 hours figuring it out the problem, so I placed back black's original parts and gold's parts as well and gold works at it's functional works but I took the blacks housing with it's tab and remove the gold's front housing and place the black front onto the gold's module and connect the blacks tab ribbon into the gold's module and the controller turned off then I tried turning on the controller and yellow flashed 3 times. So I realized it's the blacks tab might be defected so I replaced it with the gold's tab into the black controller placed with the gold's module and it works no more yellow flashing. So in conclusion to your problem or so I would assume it's your controllers bar tab that might needs to be replaced. I really hope this helps solve your problem

Similar problem with me. After plug in mine, my first one blinks once and then stops but after my second is plugged in its just keeps blinking yellow
