These Twins Declined $65 Million Offer from Facebook

Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, met with these twins, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss.

They had this idea for a social network, and Mark said he'd help them build it. But instead, he secretly started working on his own social network.

When the twins found out, they were furious and sued Mark for stealing their idea.

Now, here's the interesting part: after all that drama, Facebook offered the twins $65 million to settle the lawsuit.

Their lawyers told them to take the money and run, because it was a ton of cash. But the twins refused, insisting on receiving Facebook stock instead.
Everyone was surprised by their decision, but the twins had a good reason. They came from a wealthy family and believed Facebook would be worth even more in the future. So, they wanted a piece of the action.
Turns out, they were right. When Facebook went public and started selling shares, the twins' stock was worth a whopping half a billion dollars!
