Aptitude & Reasoning: Solved Problems on Ratio.
Problem 3: In a bag, the number of 25 paise coins, 20 paise coins, and 10 paise coins are in the ratio 3:7:9. Together they are worth ₹61. Find the number of 20 paise coins.

Problem 4: The ratio of the ages of a man and his wife is 6:5. After 16 years, the ratio becomes 10:9. Find the husband's age when the wife was born.

Present Age of (M, W) = 4x:3x
After 4 years, Age of (M, W) = (4x+4):(3x+4) = 9:7
Thus, x=8
Men = (4*8) = 32 years
Women = (3*8) = 24 years
Let the marriage happened before 'y' years
Age of (M, W) during marriage = (32-y, 24-y)
(32-y) : (24-y) = 5:3
Therefore y=12
