Solving Ratio & Proportion Problems - [6-3-7]

In this lesson, you will learn how to solve ratio and proportion problems. We will show how to set up the ratio problem as an equation, and how to use multiplication and division to solve the equation. We want to make sure that the answer we get makes sense, and so we examine the answer and make sure the same ratio is present in the answer as in the problem statement.

Since the ratios are same,
We can utilize the data that if two ratios are same, product of extreme will be equal to the product of the means.It will give the value of x in each case, by solving for x
