I have a vDSM instance running all my docker containers and it is great for this. I can't however wrap my head around on how to backup the VM. I know I can shutdown and export the VM but that is always a manual step. Do you have any suggestions?

Are there *any* good on-prem solutions to backup the NAS to tape? External disks aren't good for archiving, and cloud solutions need connectivity. I need tape, either slow USB right into the back of the NAS, or a tape unit attached to the network. I'd like to just create a Hyperbackup task.

Not sure I will use this. It might be interesting to be able to spin up a virtual DSM on my PC though. (but I do not see that happening)
