Hey Ed can you please do a step by step tutorial for MAME on the steam deck? Including the games such as Street Fighter 3rd strike

You can fix the direct 12 bug by going to configuration and changing gpu=“any” and changing it to GPU=“vulkan”. It will run abit more broken but will good to see what games run well I use it on steam deck

Yeah I was getting the same issues and then finally just dual booted Windows and it worked fine.

Also you missed a step about how to fix screen tearing. You need to set “any” in the the TOML file in the Xenia Canary folder to “vulkan.” It’s towards the bottom.

For audio there’s a setting that’s 64 should switch it to 3 in the same TOML file. It should be somewhere close to the top.

Can you please try the game mercenaries 2 world in flames I followed all your steps and watched all the vids and right when I want to play the game it's givinge a loading issue like theres no places to store saved files idk could be wrong could you have a look please?
